Day 9 – Day 1

2013 ended with a nice Spanish dinner and popping a champagne in a crowd of people at plaza catalunya. As we were anticipating some fireworks, all we could hear was fireworks from far away at plaza espanyol. Hence, that was where we headed after. The night ended well and the first day was spent well. We visited Sagrada Familia and was completely blown away by gaudi’s creativity. His work is definitely out of this world. The evening was spent at the beach. As we had a long night, we ended up snoozing on the beach, falling asleep to the sound of waves. Listening to the waves while staring into the dark skies reminded me of memories in California. I hadn’t realized how much I miss the beach and enjoyed my time in California. I am definitely blessed to have so many good memories and hoping to continue to have more in 2014.
